AMAZING LAS VEGAS COMIC CON features the “3 C’s” of Convention Culture: Comics, Creators, and COSPLAY. Each Friday from here through June, we will be featuring some of our favorite cosplayers and guests for the Comic Con!

First Up: HOLLY & JESSICA from CRABCAT!

At the biggest Comic Con events across North America, top costumers were featured on the SyFy Channel’s original program, HEROES OF COSPLAY. The duo at Crabcat Industries – HOLLY CONRAD and JESSICA MERIZAN were front and center. Their talent and kindness made them fan favorites to viewers across the country.

AMAZING LAS VEGAS COMIC CON welcomes Holly and Jessica to the South Point! They will be meeting fans, signing autographs, and posing for pictures throughout the weekend. Look for them not only on the main convention floor but on featured panels.

Holly Conrad is a cosplayer, monster maker, designer; she’s also saved the galaxy a few times. Holly co-founded Crabcat Industries in 2010 after being chosen for Morgan Spurlock’s “Comic Con Episode IV: A Fan’s Hope”. Holly has most recently been featured as a protagonist on SyFy’s “Heroes of Cosplay”. Her secret headquarters are in LA where she employs two cats as very poor minions.

Jessica Merizan is a rogue archaeologist turned costumed bard, traveling the world as a Community Manager at BioWare, working on video game franchises “Dragon Age” and “Mass Effect”. Jessica co-founded Crabcat Industries in 2010 after completing her Masters dissertation at University College London on cosplay & fandom at pop culture conventions. Jessica has most recently been featured as a protagonist on Syfy’s “Heroes of Cosplay” preaching inclusiveness, fun and rainbow sprinkles. She resides in LA when not sleeping in an airport.

AMAZING LAS VEGAS COMIC CON will feature hundred of people in costume throughout the weekend. With extensive week programming, Saturday Night’s Main Event Costest, and the Sunday afternoon Kid’s Costume Parade, the Amazing Las Vegas Comic Con is best place to celebrate the Geek Chic, and our Collective Fandom!
