AMAZING GUEST ANNOUNCEMENT: GERRY CONWAY-Legendary Creator of PUNISHER, POWER GIRL, and MORE- coming

Amazing Comic Conventions believes that Pop Culture begins with comics, and their creators. Our next guest makes his very first appearance at a Las Vegas Comic Con with AMAZING- Please welcome GERRY CONWAY!

GERRY CONWAY was one of the most prolific writers of his generation, working for both Marvel and DC, he has legendary runs on Amazing Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Inhumans, Tomb of Dracula, Batman, Justice League of America, and more. He wrote event style projects such as intercompany crossover Superman vs Spider-Man, Superman vs Wonder Woman, and was slated to write the ill fated original JLA/Avengers crossover.

GERRY CONWAY is best known as the creator of PUNISHER, introduced in Amazing Spider-Man #129. In this historic run, he killed Gwen Stacy and Green Goblin, while introducing the clone saga with the Jackel.

For DC Comics, the iconic POWER GIRL was introduced in the pages of All Star Squadron, and Gerry Conway’s issues of Batman had the first appearances of KILLER CROC from Suicide Squad, and JASON TODD. Other DC Characters Conway created were FIRESTORM, VIXEN, VIBE, GYPSY and more.

After a lengthy career in television,and film, Gerry Conway has returned to modern mainstream comics with AMAZING SPIDER-MAN: RENEW YOUR VOWS monthly series. He is also the writer for CARNAGE from Marvel Comics.

Gerry Conway will be appearing at the Amazing Las Vegas Comic Con on all three days of the event. He will be seated in Artist Alley where he will be meeting fans and signing autographs.

AMAZING LAS VEGAS COMIC CON is Nevada’s premiere pop culture event, taking place June 23-24-25, 2017. The event returns to the Las Vegas Convention Center bigger than ever before with the very best creators and pop personalities in the world, with local favorites from the Las Vegas Community, extensive programming, an International Artist Alley, and the Wizards of Cosplay.
